Albin Felc, who grew up in the small village of Kurja vas near the steel town of Jesenice, was born with ice hockey in his blood. At the tender age of 17 he became a member of the Jesenice Club, which set one of the most remarkable feats by winning the national championships 15 times in a row. He appeared at three Olympic Games as a member of the Yugoslav team. His biggest achievement came at the 1968 Olympics in Grenoble, when he scored 6 goals and had 5 assists to be the leading scorer in Group B and was later named to the top line-up in the Olympics. He continued his club career in Italy and Switzerland, before returning to Slovenia to play in Celje.
